Size: Shoulder height: 6 - 9 inches (15.24 - 22.86 cm). Weight: 1 - 5.5 lbs.

Coat: Can be long or short. A variety of colors are acceptable.

Character: These dogs are intelligent and sometimes too brave for their own good. They usually bond with only one person.

Temperament: Living with other dogs and cats is usually not a problem. Small children may regard the dog as a toy.

Care: Regular grooming with a brush and comb is required. The claws must be kept trimmed, and teeth must be checked frequently for tartar buildup.

Training: Although they are usually not trained because of their small size, Chihuahuas are eager to learn.

Activity: Chihuahuas can usually get enough exercise by running around indoors.

I wanted to thank you for the puppy you called Mindy. We have named her Febe and she has instantly become a part of our family. She is absolutly perfect. She never had one mistake in the house. It was almost like she potty trained herself. She has no fear for my 18 month old son. She plays and sleeps when he plays and sleeps. She follows me everywhere I go and has quickly become the love of my life. She never barks, she has a very cute little howl though. She never shakes, but she does hide by putting her paws over her eyes (as if to say "if I can't see you, you can't see me"). And she never over steps her bounds with my other two dogs, but she does annoy them with too many kisses (as any puppy would). I could not have come there and picked a better puppy myself. Thank-you, I know in my heart she was meant to be with my family and me.
