What is a Boston Terrier?
Boston Terriers Country of Origin: England / United States Description: The Boston Terrier is a companion and watchdog, They are very easy to care for, small in size, has a delightful personality and disposition. A very friendly dog. Boston Terriers rarely sheds, loves to go everywhere, car rides, short walks. Their body is compact and a very muscular dog. Height: 10" - 16" in size Weight: 10 - 25 lbs. Colors: Black & White, Brindle & White, Black, Brindle & White, Seal & White Coat: Short hair and smooth Temperament: Smart and Lively Interaction with Kids: yes, very friendly Interaction with other Pets: Adapts very well Watch Dog: Will sound alarm if someone approaches Guard Dog: Low, Little or no threat Care: Boston Terriers do NOT require a lot of grooming, Take a smooth brush or glove across their coat of hair lightly, Keep their ears clean and keep their feet trimmed. Exercise them daily or take them for a walk. Learning: Boston Terriers are a very intelligent dog that responds to training very well, Playful, Sense of humor and self-confident and affectionate. Health Issues: Cataracts, Breathing difficulties due to short face and pushed in nose, Whelping is difficult due to large head of animal and may require C-Sections for deliveries Life Span: Average of 11 years of age Litter Size: 3-4 puppies per litter
